Who we are
We are a non-profit school that is teaching ceramics to both autistic and non-autistic
individuals. Having both a creative outlet and a constructive social environment
can be very meaningful and life-enriching for individuals living with autism.
Our mission is to apply our creative skills to teach ceramics, to integrate into
the local community and above all, provide an opportunity for adults with autism
to be creative, to participate in social interactions with others, and to have fun.

Letters from Students
——————————–
I was lucky enough to get acquainted with Christian through my sister when I visited San Francisco last summer. I expressed an interest in learning ceramics over the summer holidays and my sister suggested that I learn from her friend, Christian, who was a potter. I spent a few days with Christian at his studio, and I had the best time. The studio is set in a facility that allows for communication with other artists, and inspiration. I admired the dedication of these artists, including Christians’, who was determined to get me to centre that clay on my own! He reviewed the steps patiently with me as I had forgotten how to do everything from the time I did pottery in Japan. I remembered in time, but still needed Christian to guide me. It was great having Christian as a teacher and I hope to learn from him again soon. Thanks sensei!
